Varvara Aleksić, the member of UPES, was the Mentor of the Legal Thursday at the 5^th Energy Community Summer School organized in Vienna. Varvara introduced the importance of energy law and moderated sessions about introduction to the European energy law, the role of the CJEU in energy matters, competition and state aid rules and two group work sessions on dispute resolution and negotiation.

The Energy Community Summer School, which started on 21st of August, gathered 45 master’s and PhD students, as well as young professionals and journalists from all over Europe. During seven days, 39 lectures were held on the topic of technical, economic, political, legal and sustainable aspects of energy.
