At the session of the Assembly of the National Petroleum Committee of Serbia – World Petroleum Council, held on August 18, 2021, UPES had become a member of this organization.

The World Petroleum Council (https://www.world-petroleum.org/) was founded in 1933 in London and consists of the National Committees of more than 70 UN member states.

The Republic of Serbia established its National Petroleum Committee (https://www.wpcserbia.rs/sr/) in 2011. Members of the National Petroleum Committee of Serbia are oil and petrochemical companies, universities and associations within related energy fields.
