Maja Turković, a member of UPES, is one of this year’s winners of the Sustainable Energy Leader Award, which is awarded for exceptional results and commitment in the process of energy transition, democratization and decentralization of energy in Serbia, by the WISE Serbia Women’s Network established by the civil society organization Center for promotion of sustainable development and the German organization for international cooperation GIZ.

Also, UPES members Neda Lazendić, Aleksandra Petrović, and Iva Đinđić Ćosić took part on September 20, 2023, at the WISE Serbia conference entitled “Women of Serbia in sustainable energy – leadership for the energy transition”.

From their own professional point of view, as panelists, they spoke on the topics  and Leadership for the energy transition in action and Women bearers of change in the energy transition, climate action – myth or reality.
