The Fifth Annual UPES Conference “Security of energy supply – nothing will be the same” was held on November 25, 2022 in the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce

 

The Fifth Annual UPES Conference entitled “Security of energy supply – nothing will be the same” was held on November 25, 2022 in the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

The conference was attended over 80 participants: energy law experts and other energy experts from the country and abroad.

The conference was opened by the president of EFELA, Mr. Vincente Lopez-Ibor Mayor. At the Conference spoked eminent experts from the UN, ENTSO-E, the Energy Community, the Delegation of the European Commission in Serbia, the Academy of Sciences of North Macedonia, international law firms, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade, members of UPES.

The main message of the conference was that ensuring the security of energy supply is subject to the latest regulations of the United Nations, the European Commission and other international institutions. Changes in the energy market become a constant, which is why it is necessary to take measures to maintain adequacy, sustainability, flexibility and efficiency of security of supply.
