The 36th CIGRE Serbia consultation was held from May 22 to 26, 2023 in Zlatibor. The aim of the 36th CIGRE Serbia consultation was to bring together experts and professionals, and organizations from the fields of science, electrical engineering and electrical industry. Through written professional-scientific papers and comprehensive expert discussions, they contributed to the electric power system through written professional-scientific papers and comprehensive expert discussions.

Within the Study Committee C5 Electricity Market and Regulation, the members of the Association for Energy Law of Serbia (UPES) had the following papers:
– joint paper of Dr. Branislava Lepotić Kovačević, Iva Đinđić Ćosić and Ljiljana Hadžibavić, UPES members, together with Marko Janković, director of the Electricity Market Sector at CWP Global entitled: “News in the regulation of the organized electricity market in the European Union and application of these regulations in the Republic of Serbia” and
– joint paper of Dunja Grujić and Miloš Kuzman, UPES members, under the title: “The role of new users of the electric power system in the development of the electric power”.

It should be noted that 2023 marks the 72nd anniversary of establishing the National Committee of the International Council for Large Electric Networks CIGRE Serbia, which indicates the extremely significant contribution of CIGRE to the development of the electric power sector in Serbia.
